artist info

christine robillard is a chicago-based architectural designer and artist with design interests which focus on the intersection of architecture, infrastructure, perception, and speed. her work frequently explores environment-building of hyperproximity through the mediums of animation and digital/physical image production. these works question the impacts and manifestations of speed on built and observable environments. her work embraces diverse contexts to generate hybrid and blended environments which seek to visualize and speculate on impending built environments. previous exhibitions of her work include large scale and immersive projections and mixed media prints.
