FX Beauties Hand Mirrors

$250.00

The series of FX Beauties handheld mirrors are studies into the historical notions of Japanese hand mirrors and the contemporary mirrors of technological devices. The overlaps between the past and the present refers to how the digital trading of currencies, taking place within the FX Beauties and often from the home, is rooted both in traditions while embodying the present. Each mirror enables different ways of exploring reflections and the relations to the surroundings.

Production and materials

The hand mirrors have been locally produced in Los Angeles using local wood and non-toxic oil.

Sizes
